TO ALL WILLING TO REGISTER AS PERFORMERS FOR MLU SESSION 7...

...Performing groups list will be Reviewed, Revised and Regenerated every day till 2 days before the event...after that no changes will be made. Final list shall appear on the day before the MLU session. Cheers!!!

The Current List is as follows:
1. Student band of 'BE3 School of Music' [Instrumental Rock] - {5}
2. Mohamed Ansar Quartet [Jazz / Rock] - {4}
3. Quantity Not Sufficient [Easy Listening] - {2}
4. Scribble Pad [Progressive Fusion] - {4}
5. Radial Dispersion [Fusion] - {6}
6. Concrete Junglee [Punk Rock] - {3}
7. Syndrome Reloaded [Punk Rock/Alternative/Experimental] - {4}
8. Indian Blues Project [Blues/Carnatic Classical fusion] - {5}
9. Gurukul Academy [Indian Classical Bamboo Flute troupe] - {6}
10. The Select Filters [Acoustic Rock] - {2}

Standby Slots:
1. Elevation Dynamics [Progressive Metal] - {5}

All regulation slots are filled and 1 standby slot remains for the time being!!!
However, this table can change... so keep tuned in!!!

NOTE TO ALL ASPIRING PERFORMERS... PLEASE DO MENTION YOUR 'GENRE' OF MUSIC AND 'NO. OF GROUP MEMBERS' ALONGSIDE YOUR GROUP NAME...

...ALSO, PLEASE DO PROVIDE US WITH ALTERNATE SOURCES OF CONTACT LIKE YOUR MOBILE NOS. AND EMAIL IDs

REMEMBER THE EVENT IS HELD ON SATURDAY, THE 3RD OF JULY!!!

INFO ONLY FOR PERFORMER'S SIGNING UP FOR THE PERFORMANCE SESSION:

10 slots of 15 mins each (includes sound check)

Performance slots will be filled as per 'First Cum First Serve' basis

+2 slots for back-up incase any band/artist backs out on last minute

A minimum donation of Rs.30/- would be appreciated to cover up the expenditure involved for usage of equipment and resources

Performer's are to bring their own instruments and cables to connect them.

They are to follow the stage setup rules as laid by the Sound setup Heads to avoid any mishaps and undesirable sound

Performer's are NOT permitted to publicize their performance at the M.L.U session as

'Their own GIG'..It should be could publicized in the following format:

"________ is performing at the M.L.U session 7 on __date,venue"

Breach of any instructions & rules of conduct will be judged & taken action against by the 'Core team' and their decision shall be final.

Drum kit: list of components have been confirmed on 'Discussion on mixing, acoustics, stage setup' page on forum... PLEASE DO CHECK!!!

Additional Cables/cords(only for backup) : only 4nos

4 additional mics:

ie: 1guitar mic+stand ,

1overheadmic+stand

1 vocal mic+stand ,

1 bass drum mic/normal mic

Amps/stage monitors

1 guitar amp

1 bass amp

1 keyboard amp

Existing Setup at venue :

1 technician

6mics, 24 channel mixer, 2 heavy duty stage monitors

Audio recording- behringer mixer input(yet to be confirmed)
Video recording - (yet to be confirmed)

Photography - Rj (last MLU photographer)

I have cleaned up the forum regarding the performance slots to avoid confusion. I have locked the thread started by Rolins announcing the opening of the slots. Kindly put in your request as REPLIES to this thread ONLY.
