It was really nice to see everyone at the event. Now, let us have some honest
critiques of where we went wrong. Be constructive and open up your thoughts. We
can surely improve only in such a manner. Also thoughts about the acoustic, mixing, etc. |

this MLU has certainly been such a revision & almost a positive correction
of all our previous flaws etc that lacked for eg:videorecording/audio rec
etc..and even the proper sound setup and most importantly an apt venue..it was
a great learning process since the past 6 sessions!!
MLU-7 certainly made that mark and pushes us to look further ahead and
polish/fine tune many aspects like documentation etc..
it is especially the post event activity that people tend to ignore..that
is most important..to bring up the essential points n ways to promote the
experience in the right way through media/social networking etc after each
session gets over..it is the conitual process or wrking/support that is still
lacking...maybe thats wat we need to furnish next...
anyways about the event, well arun seems to have put it very clearly abt
each one who performed..ceratinly it was a delight to have such a vibrant
performance session this time..n if u listen to the random jam session
recording..man that all happened on the spot between musicians ho'd never even
met b4!!woow..great!
looking forward to get the next session in place soon..probably v shud all
get in actively n make it happen every 3months...

TOO HARD TO BELIEVE EVERYTHING WENT OFF SO WELL... I HONESTLY LIKED ALL THE PERFORMANCES ON THEIR OWN RESPECTIVE MERITS AND ALSO LOVED THE PRESENTATION OF SOME OF THE BANDS... ONE THAT STRIKES MY MIND SUDDENLY IS CONCRETE JUNGLEE - I MEAN WHERE ELSE WOULD ONE GET TO SEE PUNK ROCKERS DRESSED IN KURTAS... WAY DIFFERENT... LOVED IT!!!
ABOUT THE FUSION GROUPS (RADIAL DISPERSION AND INDIAN BLUES PROJECT)---THEY BOTH SEEMED WELL PREPARED AND READY TO RUN THE BIG MILE... CHEERS TO THEM!!!
GURUKUL ACADEMY HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PLEASURE TO LISTEN TO AND THEY WERE VERY MUCH AT IT YET AGAIN...
THE STUDENT BAND FROM BE3 SCHOOL OF MUSIC WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE INDEED... FOR STUDENTS WHO MAY NOT HAVE HAD A LOT OF EXPOSURE AT PERFORMING TO AN AUDIENCE, THEY WERE PRETTY TIGHT I MUST SAY...
FOR THE EASY LISTENERS, THE SELECT FILTERS AND QNS WERE RARE TREATS...
ANSAR WAS BIT DEJECTED AFTER HIS PERFORMANCE... BUT HONESTLY THERE WAS NOTHING TO BE SAD ABOUT!!! THE VERY MOMENT HE ANNOUNCED 'TAKE FIVE', MY HEART FREAKIN' SKIPPED A BEAT... I MEAN, 'BRUBECK AT MLU'??? AWESOME!!!
AND FINALLY ABOUT OUR PERFORMANCE I.E. SCRIBBLE PAD, WE AREA DEEPLY SORRY TO OUR WELL WISHERS AS WE COULD NOT PRESENT OURSELVES COMPLETELY AS ONE OF THE VITAL COMPONENTS OF OUR COMPOSITIONS, THE FLUTE, WAS MISSING...
HOWEVER, WE ENJOYED EVERY SINGLE MOMENT PLAYING ON STAGE ALBEIT OUR LIMITATIONS... HOPE YOU GUYS LIKED OUR STUFF TOO!!!
SO, SIGNING OUT WITH THREE CHEERS FOR MLU...
HIP HIP HURRAY!!!
